News presenter Kathryn Robinson will join The Project's Andrew Rochford, NZ shock jock Paul Henry and meteorologist Magdalena Roze on the show, rumoured to launch on February 27.

Ten's head of news Anthony Flannery said the chemistry between the four was the ''perfect mix for breakfast''.

The decision to take on Seven and Nine in the early hours has raised eyebrows in the industry, with Ten's programming boss David Mott determined to get his cut of the estimated $72 million breakfast TV revenue market.

Paul Henry says he is not worried about turning off viewers because the network has "virtually no one to lose".

The controversial Kiwi, on a three-year contract with the network, said he wanted to offer something new and entertaining when the show launched this month.

"Normally, when you start something new, you are worried about not pissing off the people (already watching). We have virtually no one to lose," he said.
